2nd Annual Passion Works Cake Auction
Oh, how sweet it will be! On Saturday May 12th from 10am to 3pm, Passion Works will be hosting its second annual cake auction. The silent auction is being held at the center court of The Market on State. Last year the auction was a huge success with 50 local companies and organizations donating a cake. Passion Works raised a resounding $3,000 with the support of generous community bidders. This year we have made an exciting change to the event. With each cake donation every company or organization will also donate a $25 minimum incentive item. Not only will the highest bidder at the end of the day receive a cake, they will also receive a gift! Helping out with the event this year are three Ohio University student organizations including Alpha Lambda Delta, Tau Beta Sigma Alpha Delta, and Delta Sigma Pi. So far our sponsors for the auction include ATCO Inc., Frontier Communication, The Market on State, O’Bleness, Ohio Arts Council and Power 105.
