The Castles Are Coming: September 13th
Our very talented Passion Works artists are chivalrously working on building medieval castles stone by stone, slaying polystyrene to sculpt dragons, painting princesses and damsels in distress.
Passion Works artists have completely immersed themselves making art for this exhibition with the creation of three dimensional art, sculpting, assembling and painting. New techniques are being taught and new tools are being used. We are working with knives, dremels, hot wires and measuring tools. We are learning about medieval architecture; then, we are gluing, caulking and using very vibrant colors. We will even be learning about making our own cardboard pulp that we will use to create shapes, texture and even more color.
The exhibition is well in progress and is truly exciting; all of the art will be new! Opening reception will be on Thursday September 13th from 6-8 pm, refreshments will be served and “The Flute Geeks” will perform live. This will be a great, fun filled family event. Thank you for your support!
